I dont like the looks of the bearings, wear on the ends & not in the middle is a sign of the crank out of round, and that crank has way too many ridges in it for me, I feel your wasting money on new bearings and such if you dont turn the crank.
You may be money & time ahead, looking for a 3.0, any year from a Taurus, Windstar, Ranger will work using your intake - exhaust and brackets. I paid $250 for a complete motor with less than 14k miles & $75 to ship it, it was in Canada.
I cant see rebuilding a 3.0 when they are dirt cheap, if you look around.
