I haven't been paying attention to this lately (or my ranger), but if it's not too late I'm in Wasilla/Meadow Lakes area along the way to Fairbanks and would like to get in on the banner signing. My ranger is not really road worthy right now, but I might be able to get it down the road to the gas station for this!

I been having a suck time contacting people either they arnt around anymore, they dont list where they are from on their profile and the regional forum sucks for a members list for Alaska anyways. I have about 5 members reeled in for tonites signing in Anchorage and waiting for responces from Fairbanks(crickets chirping)

I haven't heard of any southern Alaska Rnager members, I know people that own rangers in Juneau but not on TRS.

Mike when would you be able to meet in Tok or the border? I don't have a passport to get across.

Best for me, Victoria day long weekend. For youse guys that's the 19-21. That way I get an actually not compressed amount of time.

Ok here we go the launching of the TRS 2012 Banner is happening. The plan is in the next two days to get Anchorage members to sign, then on Thursday the 10th AK907GIRL will take it on a trek to Fairbanks. Along the trail she will meet ORIGINAL_RANGER84 probably somewhere around Denali park and he will sign and continue his journey South to his hometown in Homer. She will have it in Fairbanks for 5 days hopefuly getting some members out of their winter dens to sign and getting lots of great pics for us before returning to Anchorage around the 16th?. This is over a 600 mile trip for her through interior Alaska so everybody wish her a safe and fun trip. When it returns to Anchorage we will get any stragglers to sign and take it a few places for photos, we are working on the details to get it to the ALCAN border to our Canadian friends so as that develops we will post up. This should be an epic journey for this banner and may many friends meet and be made.

Sounds awesome. Other than that I'll have to see what other weekends I'm not working. Not stoked to cross the border though, your border guards don't like this smiling Canuck

Ok got the first ink on the banner tonite. Had some no shows but hope to have them sign when it comes back from Fairbanks, so its been handed off to AK907GIRL and im sure she will get some great AK pics on her trip North.
