so i bought this 1988 b2 for 200$ and my old junk parts truck for the ranger
it has or "had" a 2.9 that was had better days cracked head im guessing
so i started tearing it apart to pull out disconnecting all the wires was the first part
took out the air box and a/c pump
got the p/s pump unbolted and zip tied outta the way next was taking off the upper intake
got all the fuel lines off pulled the injecters out and fuel rail then took off the lower intake
pretty nasty inside lots of water
got everything unbolted and ready for pulling the motor out
so then i ran in to problems with headers holding it in because the bolts snaped in half ended up cutting the whole exhuast system out to get it outta the way because im not gonna be using it later on. unbolted the 4 bolts on the fly wheel and she came out!!
with the help of my grandfarther and his lil yan-mar tractor we got it out.
i just put the old rims and bald tires on and took the stock trim rings off the b2 rims and put them on the black stock wheels i had looks good enuf for me
got the tranny and t case out not gonna be using that junk auto a4ld tranny
