when the car heats up and the motor has ran for awhile it starts dragging It wont go over 30mph with petal to the floor and runs hard. replaced fuel pump annd filter. tune up, dont know whats wrong. oh, and cleaned the converters out. any clues???

Your ICM is overheating guarnteed. You can do a remote mount that will prevent it in the future. Having the icm mounted on the distributor was one of fords most regretable decisions. I think this forum has a step by step remote mount breakdown.

All you have to do is mount the TFI elsewhere, then run some wires from the TFI to the dizzy. There are writeups all over the net

How is ur trucks temp? Is the whole engine overheating? Mine does that when it gets to hot. Just put bigger radiator in today.
