Air condition in '90 Ranger

I want to remove the air conditioner in my 1990 ranger because the gas is no longer available in Italy and not use it! anyone has any tips for not committing the damage?

i say cut that shit off, if youve got a rear slider then youre set. i took the A/C off my 94 and replaced the heater box with a non A/C box from the junk yard. now i have plenty of room in the engine compartment AND i can change all my spark plugs easily.

I replaced the spark plugs, the distributor rotor and cap, the cables of the spark plugs, and now I have no spark !!!!! help me what could have happened??
