Just how fast do you plan on driving?someone know how remove the speed limit on my 02 ranger 2.3l
the limiter is there to keep u safe, over 100mph rangers arent that stable.
my 2.5 has the limiter higher than the 01+, it kicks in when the needle barelly touches the 100mph mark, and going that fast isnt that safe, unless u have lowered suspension and z rated tires
my buddie has a ranger with a turbo 4" lift and 33's going 115 on a dirt road and it was absolutely fine. Its ur truck,do what u want but ur gonna have to buy a chip for that bitchive done a hundred in mine, that was the scariest race ive ever been in.
But i won
I've always felt that the speedometer going up to 120 in my 2.3 was, uh, extremely optimistic on the part of the designers.
Yes, a tune can remove rev and speed limiters. I'd have issues recommending BAMA though, my experience was less than pleasant. BTW, how many months did it take for you got get the programmer?if u still want to do this then go with a BAMA chip. i recently bought one for mine and it does all sorts a wounders
It took about 3 weeks actually. i havent had any problems with it yet..Yes, a tune can remove rev and speed limiters. I'd have issues recommending BAMA though, my experience was less than pleasant. BTW, how many months did it take for you got get the programmer?
