3.0 roller rocker Q's

I heard that the 3.0 roller rockers sold are actually just 5.0 roller rockers. Is there any truth to this? I happen to have a set of 5.0 rockers laying around.

Yes 5.0 roller rockers are a straight bolt on to the 3.0.

3/8 or 7/16, pedestal mount? Just a straight bolt on, huh? Anything else I need to know?

Not sure about the mount size....I've read about and seen a few 3.0's with the roller's. I know it's a bolt on affair.

apparently scuttlebutt is the 3.0 is just the 5.0 with 2 cylinders shaved off.
