88 bumper on a 98 ??????

Will a bumper from a 88 fit on a 98 model?

I don't know if it would fit or not, but even if it did, it would look pretty funky on your truck. I have seen that style of bumper on a 93-97 style and it didn't really look right. For all I know, they may have changed something in the frame rails when they changes to independant suspesnion up fornt in '98, making it a bit harder to mount one.

But anything will fit with enough fabing.

They changed the frame alot in '89 for sure, I imagine they did again in the '93 update and probably on later updates as well, so you probably couldn't just bolt on. The '88 bumper is pretty simple though, you could probably make brackets to put it on.
