Hitch compatibility

Just wondering what years of rangers all take the same hitch. I am going to go junk yard surfing for one. How are those cheap walmart adjustable ones?

Looks like like every ranger takes the same hitch except for the step side beds. Any one pulled a Windstar van 50 miles on a dolly with a Ranger?

i pulled a 95 old cutless seirra about 35 miles with my ranger, pulled it just fine, to top it off that car dolly was just hooked up to the bumper hitch

Today I just saw an STX pulling a Ford Escort with a tow bar and they had a full load of scrap metal in the bed.

flat towed another 4x4 ranger for about 50 miles. also towed my ranger with my escort ;missingteeth;

I towed this for about 10 miles and i towed a Ford Tempo with same trailer using a reese power tow hitch.
