Bad news. drove the truck to work today, but when i went to start it to go home it was a no go it turned over no problem, and it had a good spark at the plugs. i tried some starter fluid and it would fire up just for a second then die. i figure it must be getting no fuel. i have not done any work on the fuel system on this truck so im a bit new. i do know there is two fuel pumps, one in the tank, one on the rail, and a in line fuel filter. what should i start replacing? what usually goes bad first? is there a trick/tool to get the fuel line apart from the filter and pump? thanks for any help. 88 2.9 by the way.
