I need one body mount for my 1986 ranger supercab that I,m trying to sell. I found a truck in Arizona that had what I needed---BUT--- I got the bolt loose and out but the two rubbers will not come out of the frame. I can turn the top washer and rubber indepent of the bottom but no go. How are these attached to the frame and what do they look like when apart--I assume they are two halfs???
The previous owner had fabed some rubber in there that held a long time but just gave out. Baffled??? Both I and the junkyard hand tried to get it out.

My credo
The memories of a man in his old age are the deeds of a man in his prime
The two pieces slide inside one another inside the bushing.
Either you have to spread them up and down or cut them in half.
It would be time consuming but try another to see if it will come apart.
The ones that seem to really weld up are the radiator support.

I had the same issue when I did bushing replacement. But the kit came with hardware, not what you are doing.

Which mount is it? I have some that came apart but its a very short collection.

The one I need is the rear cab mount on a extended cab 1986 ranger (the closet one to the front of the bed).

I had a couple that would not come apart when I lifted my cab for the overhaul. I simply put the bolt back in from the top and smacked it with a 3 Lb sledge and they popped right apart. Hope this helps you out.
