Your truck and the open road...


Man Nat that truck is so sweet, it has to be my fav. with thumper coming in a close second. every time I drive back to colo. I always think to email thumper a see that beast in person. or go out in my baby 2wd. keep up the good work guys.

i had a good one....sort of..

hey it was on the open road.


its of the speedo in the vette following my truck about 8 years ago, its actually a capture from video....you can just make out my tailgate at the angle it was taken, and my plate, which is unmistakable.....speedo on the truck only goes to 85 and i was curious...to see if it could go, uhhhh... 90
 
The only pics of my truck I have, of it on the road. I can't take pics of it, while I'm in it on the road so...

I think that wheezing 351W was pushing him up all the hills :stirthepot:

I was hoping Ryan would look in at this. That was his B2 behind Sam's F250.

The 210hp/325ft# 5.8 won the downhill races. The weak, wheezing 6.2 won all the uphill races. I drove 70 the whole time. Sam would whistle by me on the downhills about 90, get in the right lane, and I would wave as I went past him on the next uphill. We were together for around 800miles--I filled up once. He averaged about 7mpg to my 16. Soon after, Sam bought a Powerstroke.
