Took my permit test today at the DMV and passed with flying colors. Missed 4 out of 47. Now If only my truck was running.:icon_twisted:

Good job dude.

Put in as many practice hours as possible and stay on top of your parents. I had my permit for two freakin years because mine were draggin their asses.

Good going! Be careful out there, too many idiots who aren't.

Congrats bro!!!!! :icon_hornsup: :icon_thumby:

Not a bad score. But be VERY CAREFUL for the first few years until you get plenty of miles under your seatbelt.

you have to have hours to get a license? i'm confused....lol. MS don't ask questions, just have to hold your permit 6 months.

congrats-- not get off your butt and go fix the ranger!

I bought my 94 about 2 months ago knowing it take a while to get running. And the 68 has always been mine was my dad's old truck been sitting for about 6 years dropped a new battery in it and fired right up. I've been over ecited to drive and thats why I've already got a few trucks!:icon_twisted:

You guys don't have a restricted license where you are at....that means an adult has to be with you to be able to drive??

I'm not sure how Cali is, but in PA you can take a written test for your permit on your 16th b-day. If you pass they give you a permit and a log book (similar to ones used by big-rig drivers). You then have to log 50 hours driving (as in, record time driven, who was with you, and what you did, then have the adult sign off) and wait 6 months before you can take your road test.

WE can get our permit at 15 1/2 and have it for 6 months. We have to have 50 or 60 hours of behind the wheel experiance but not keep a log. We also have to take a 6 hour behind the wheel chorse with an instructor then we can got to the dmv after 6 months and take the driving test at 16.
