Work in progress 1970s bradley GT kit car rebuild & motor swap

This is what I would like to do for the rear. I'll have to see how low I can get the shell first though.

That's way more refined then my simple solution... and way cooler too!

I got the shell to sit lower on it today. but im to the point where the rear suspension is hitting the roof in the rear. wheel gap from shell is around 7-8" and that will be where it sits for now. The whole shell itself sits way higher than the pan so tomorrow im going to work on welding up a spacer so the pan and shell can mate up.

I seen that coming back in December when I said... " I'm thinking the challenge will be keeping all the Ford stuff you're putting in the back below the body line".

I still think cutting the back off and getting the body on the pan properly would be best. But if not... maybe cut the center of the rear out to allow the body to drop to the proper position and then glass in a new lid... something like this maybe?

Been a bit since my last update here. But its nearly ready for a test drive. It runs, has fully working disc brakes, a fully working hydraulic clutch, and the shell is fully bolted in and ready to move. tight fit, but I made it work. btw the rattling noise in the vid is just a few wrenches clanking around on the floor pan

i just saw it on Letgoand it was vaguely familiar to me.
