Always impressed with the quality of your photo's bob. Your also a lucky man btw, she's a pretty lady.

you allways seem to take such clear photos. have you ever gotten any put into magizines? and i'll agree Your also a lucky man , she looks so happy in that pic.

Very nice for using flash. I would use photoshop to make sure the remove some of the blue/cyan cast that is on her face(it might not be there, because of web sRGB). It is very minimal though. I would also bring the background saturation down a little as it is kind of out of place. I would also clean up her left eye just a little with some patch tool and clone stamp to remove the harsh strobe look.

What body/lens? And from the shot, I will take a guess that the flash was camera mounted or close to it and shot direct or with a smaller shoot through umbrella.

The camera is a Nikon D300, the lens is a Nikkor 17 55mm f/2.8, and the flash is a Nikon SB-900. The background was a magnolia tree in direct sunlight, and with the DOF Bokeh, the image is extremely accurate! You guess is totally wrong on the flash! She was standing under a gazebo, and the flash was bounced straight up while using the flash diffuser. I would say the blue/cyan cast is coming from your display, I sure don't see it, and from
the comments from NikonCafe, the pros there don't see it either:

1. It is an excellent background, and the bokeh is very nice for such a short focal length lens.

2. I guess that I nor my co workers see what you see(keep in mine that we are all commercial photographers, ranging from 5-35 years experience). I want to say that the exposure is off on her, a little underexposed. The image is sharp, and has shadows with depth.

3. You either like exclamation points, or you don't like criticism.

4. Well, 2 "pros" might be better then me. I see something wrong. I just loaded it up on my calibrated system, and there is a cast to it. Like I said, it could be the web sRGB color space.

No real sense being a dick over this issue since you are most likely right about your image, I just don't see it the same as you. If is your work, so take what I say or leave it. In the end all I can do it hope I did not make another enemy. Cheers.:icon_cheers:
