widest 35s on a stock wheel

whats the widest 35 tire i can fit on my stock 15 inch wheel?

35x10.50R15 (I know Interco makes a few tires in this size, not sure about others).

You could jam a 35x12.50 on it too, but it's not recommended.

a 12.50 in 35 is way better than 33's if you have to go 12.50. I have 33x12.50's i picked up for cheap and then i found out the 93-94 stock wheels (which are actually the older wheels from the 80's) are 6.5 inches wide. Your bead wont seat as nicely with this width difference. Like he said 10.50's are the max optimal width, unless you can find some cheap 10 inch rims. hell even 8 inch rims would be better than stock wheels. 35 x 10.50's are gonna look kinda goofy. But they will pull thats for sure.
