Hey guys, I have a 99 ranger standard cab, 2wheel drive, 2.5l and manual tranny. I currently am running 225/70R15 tires and they are now bald. I would like to go with a wider tire and am thinking about 245/60R15. will these tires rub, or will they be to heavy on my little 4 cyl? any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

it should handle them fine, and I imagine that there should be enough room on a '99 as I'm running 10" wide tires on my '90 and ran 9" wide tires on it when it was a 4x2, and got little to no rub in either configuration...

Remember that rim backspacing can effect the fit/no-fit. I ran a 255-60-15 up front on a 15x8 with -11mm offset. I had no rubbing at stock height.
