Why only up to 2011 offroad rangers?

Well I have the 3.2 turbo Diesel with automatic transmission and a Sport mode with semi manually gear change (as it’s without clutch). I don’t know what the 2019 have, or if it has something that I not have but feel free to ask about it. I know every setting and knob in the car, but not sure I can explain everything as my english skills are pretty basic....

What I'm understanding from you is that you have a really great truck. I think I would like that diesel. And the pictures show a place that looks fun to explore.

Our 2019 ranger only comes in a 2.3 turbo gas engine with a 10 speed auto or 6 speed manual. Small diesel engines are basically dead in north america because of emissions laws and the scam the germans pulled. Freakin germans always ruin the party...

They aren’t the only ones. I believe Dodge/Ram got busted for cheating as well.

Plus the extra cost to get the engine and higher maintenance costs are a turn off as well. To many people.

Me personally, I would rather have the diesel.

Here you can not get a ranger that is not a diesel. And th 10 speed auto is only in the Raptor. Thailand have it’s own version of Raptor and there is no options, only one “maximum options” but that is not true because most of the options you have in the states can’t be found here. It actually look the same as the ranger. It’s kind of funny but a car as original, even a new one, nobody even look at. Here it’s all about what you do with it. So mine is pretty high on that list. So there is a BIG market for extra parts and I barley see any trucks in traffic without that part on the hood I have.

Yes and no, about the exploring part. It happens me on a regular basic that I start on a great road that suddenly goes from good to less good to bad and then impossible and I need to turn around on a road that can’t be called a road any more. But the worst thing is how totally insane they build roads in mountains. There has been a couple of times the climb is in an angle I can’t see the road in front of me and mountain on one side and 200 foot drop on the other side, and I have to go forward and just hope I will get to a spot I can turn around, and the whole time pray not meet someone... Last time that happened I turned around at 300 meters altitude and thought I would die for most parts of it.... ;)

Is that Gator skin or Ostrich Skin around that shifter?

Not Italian, probably more Spanish/Mexican than anything. Trying to play up the western/cowboy theme with "longhorn" (which is a breed of cattle that was popular in the old west for you city slickers)

Cowboy boots and saddles (and even pistols) have the same kind of patterns.

I do too.

The older King Ranches had really cool leather, it looked kinda like what the above boot is made out of.

Now it looks like it is painted brown.

Well it’s nice it’s good enough to trick you but it is actually neither. It’s a sticker.

And yes it’s supposed to look like gator skin.I bought it on eBay and attached it myself. It was tricky. It’s the same with all “wood, carbon and other” inside the car. I’m planning a bigger type of wrap on the outside as well but I will not attempt doing that myself. This is also the whole reason I do this inside the car, I know I can restore it to original in a very short time and without a trace of it ever been there. If I later want to sell the car. I even saved the fabric that was on the chairs, just to have it and the possibility to give a later buyer the option of getting it as a new car looks....

Wasn't Dodge owned by the Germans at one point.

They were and that thought did cross my mind but since I was too lazy to see what model years were effected, I don't know if they were during the Daimler ownership years or after.
