Why Ford is better than Chevy

Explain to them why Ford discontinued the production of the Ranger and why you think they should bring it back.

And then explain how Toyota has been the number 1 selling compact truck manufacturer year after year and Ford stopped selling the Ranger here but produced a 4 door supercab that only went overseas...we all hate that....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! lol

Why Ford is better than Chevy............. hhhhhhhmmmmmm...........

Because chevy is not worth its weight in used toilet paper, period.

Park any new chevy next to a Ford of the same class and trim level with a comparative price and the fit and finnish is better on the Ford. I have owned mostly Fords and Chevies and I have always had better luck with Ford generally..........

Fyi...... when I had the rented V6 Mustang when we were in Las Vegas...... I got into a drag race with a V6 Camaro....... all the Camaro saw was tail lights.

It makes me laugh how a bunch of you complain about Chevy's ifs. You do remember how ford ran a ttb setup from the mid 70's while chevy kept the solid axle? And until ford stopped production rangers had ifs. We may like a solid axle 4x4 but how many customers buy a 2500 just to hit the trail? Realistically they are work trucks that see dirt roads and some occasional rough terrain.

Also how easy is it to find 350 parts at a junk yard? I liked all my chevys and had no problems with them. Its a matter of opinion which is why it would be difficult to argue one over the other. For every vehicle one made you can pick one the other made that was better or worse. How many of you would want a mustang II?

It took the market shrinking to the point Ford didn't think the Ranger was worth updating before Toyota stepped out in front. All the compact trucks sold nowadays are a sad fraction of what they were selling 10 years ago. I think the Ranger was #1 from the late '80's up until somewhere around '05.

As to Toyota's foresight... I don't know if they could have picked a worse time to introduce their third attempt at a fullsize truck.
