Why a broncoii ?

Because it's all the awesome of my Ranger, plus a back seat.

thats the thing that keeps me lusting after one, that and the shorter wheel base is nicer for wheeling than an ext cab ranger with a bad departure angle.

The short wheel base is nice for a lot of things. I really like my B2 as a commuter because I run back roads and it handles them nicely.

I have to say though, I much prefer my Ranger when I go into town because it's a more powerful engine and a much more comfortable highway vehicle. The B2 starts to feel tippy around 70 mph. The Ranger will take 85 and be solid.

I run mine at 70 to and from work everyday with Jeep springs. She can handle it, just need to believe in her.

I know she won't tip. The guy I bought it from said he got pulled over doing 110.

I just said it feels tippy. The Ranger doesn't.

I was looking for something narrow, lightweight, Fuel injected I think they are a awesome package.

I got mine for free and its my first vehicle and has never had any real problems other that a blown a4ld. But they are reliable and great in the snow

i liked mine, i beat the crap outa it, then it went to the junk yard... it was an awesome 2 weeks...

though mine techincally never existed... it had a dummy transfercase on it, even though it was 2wd, and it also had a 2.3L v6, a motor that ford never sold in north america

I like 'em cause my next door neighbor had 1 when I lived in Wisc. great in the snow up there. course I live in Texas now,,hence no snow but we do get a lil snow/ice at times,, freaks of nature here. mines a good 4-wheeler,, lots of ORV parks here, abandoned gravel pits with hills, small shallow ponds/creeks, and they are posted but with the right connections,,one can enter at your own risk(course I have car insurance w/ towing/recovery),, owners don't care but take your trash with you, no camp fires, the usual rules.

Just now recconized your name from FTE, you were asking about the end of the Ranger. Loved my 84 BII and yes, did run great in the snow. Just saw a 84-85 XLS that had to have been restored running around in town, almost made a u-turn to pull them over.

i think the question is, why the hell not a bronco ii?

I like that people think B2's are crap. I make it a point to change their opinion.
