Who here is hoarding Ranger parts? Who do we think has the most??

I see I was mentioned here but not tagged :tease:

I guess you could say I have a fairly large stash. Behind my shop I have a rack loaded up with axles/driveshafts/body parts and tires. I keep all the interior parts, wiring and new parts in the attic - it's 40' long and I have rows of boxes in the middle. Also have a pickup box trailer with engines in it, and a bunch of transmissions in my little shed.

People who come over and my wife are always like "wow............." but it doesn't seem like an unreasonable amount as I always seem to be short on something. Imagine needing a specific driveshaft and none in the pile of 50 are the one I need. The most frustrating part is not being able to store complete vehicles. I can't tell you how many times I've needed to buy something that I just scrapped because I had no room for one more dead truck. That's probably a pipe dream, the only other place that I'd think about moving to is a 20 acre lot but it's in town and has a 2 million dollar house next door so I'm sure they will start whining if I start accumulating junk there.

Before I moved from Ohio, I had a lot of 'spare parts' in my shop that I had to get rid of. Heck, my best friend for years was into Chevy S-10's and had a garage stuffed full of spare parts. You could probably build a complete truck or three.

Question 1: Who here is stock piling spare Ford Ranger parts?

Question 2: Of the ones stock piling Ford Ranger parts, who has the most?

Question 3: Do any of you dare share pics of your stockpile?

Question 4: For the members here, which forum member do YOU THINK has stockpiled the most spare Ford Ranger parts?
A friend of mine ( I won't say who) worked here in the Saint Paul Ford Ranger assembly plant for decades. He has a two car garage with a second floor filled with parts. He's been kind enough to give me little odds and ends, knobs, snubbers, the things that drive us all crazy.

i used the be the bmw guys here in south texas. people would call me from all over looking for 84-92 bmw 3 series odd ball parts. now i only have a shelf or two of rare parts, ha ha ha. factory recaro seats from a 320is are the main space holders in the garage right now from those days

I'm definitely not one who has the most parts, yet I've had 5 big tote containers thru the years when I had my 94 3.0 5spd ranger. I got rid of alot of it as I didn't know i was going to get another ranger. I did keep somethings incase I did.

Some of those parts were used my 97 3.0 5spd ranger. I only have 1 tote container now full of some things I've gathered from the yards, as these 3.0 5spd rangers from 95-97 don't exist like they used to. I get what I can when I can.

Soon Eric will be helping me with some extra parts for the 3.0. Even though my health is still not good..would be good to have extra parts. Im unable to go to yards and pull parts like I used to.

Speaking of that, just this afternoon, I finally got back into that box so I can respond properly to your last pm. Even though I have been feeling physically better each day, i have been having a lot of trouble motivating myself to start doing physical things each day. I don't know what the psychological link is between the heart problems and motivation. But it has been a struggle. I'm glad you weren't in a rush.

Never ever throw parts away! You never know what the future holds. Who knows, I might get another 1974 or 1980 Fiat X19 or a 73 Rollswagon any day now!

He gave me a Chilton's Car Care Ranger book one day. I asked why suggesting he might need it. He showed me his own. He had several three ring binders with his own pictures, diagrams, and notes.
