i got a ranger and i wouldnt have it any other way... except maybe for a powerstroke, yes that would be real nice

or even better a ranger wit a powerstroke

ive got an 88 xcab 2.9v6 5spd 2wd. but my love of the rbv started with my bII.

1. 1992 2.3 5-speed 2wd Short Cab Short Box , got for free from dad , sold to good friend

2. 1990 2.9 Auto 2wd Ex. Cab Short Box , got for $250 , sold to same friend for $400

3. 1997 2.3 Auto 2wd Short Cab Short Box , paid $900 , sold for $1600

4. 1996 4.0 5-speed 4x4 Ex. Cab Short Box , bought for $2100 , abused for 1.5 years and sold for $1800 , dumped a ton of money into it and i miss it

5. 2000 3.0 Auto 4x4 Ex. Cab 4 Door Short Box Stepside , bought for $2500 , still have , trying to sell for same amount , complete money pit for me , far from stock

6. 1997 2.3 5-speed 2wd Short Cab Short Box stepside , bought totaled for $250 with 43k original miles , parted out for $1600 and kept $1200 worth of goodies for myself

7. 1997 4.0 5-Speed 4x4 Ex. Cab Short Box , bought for $2100 , still currently own , fully loaded , blown engine

8. 2003 4.0 5-Speed 4x4 Ex. Cab Short Box FX4 Level II , bought in may for $2500 , totaled on 11/11/10 , i miss my baby

2. 1996 Explorer XLT AWD , bought for $350 , sunk $900 into , current winter vehicle

2. 1987 F-150 XL 300 I6 C6 auto 4x4 , bought for $400 , sold for $350 , headgasket blew shortly after sale , had 35's with no lift

3. 1984 Mustang LX Convertible 3.8 Auto , 67k original miles , paid $1000 for , currently in storage

4. 1997 F-350 XLT 7.3 Powerstroke ZF-S5-47 5-Speed 4x4 Dually Utility Truck , paid $1500 for it

I still have my 2003. Still runs strong, still no leaks, still no mechanical issues of any sort. Only money I've had to put into it besides regular wear and tear/maintenance was replacing the axle seals on the rear differential.
