Who actually has a Ranger???

I have one, I don't drive it much but I do have one.

It is getting gutted and pretty much a fresh restart as far as the powertrain goes as soon as the weather allows.

had an 87 bronco II then I got a 97 ranger and traded in the bronco II for a 2011 ranger

so I own 2 ranger at this time.

sorry,could you repeat the question?

actually,i've kinda lost count, but every now and then someone posts a pic of one i've forgotten about.

i guess i'm with our friend 'domestic poultry fornicator',and will go with 'troll that owns one'(or more)

I have one, it's a 97 2wd 2.3 5 spd.
Never in a million years would I look to buy one of these, let alone actually OWN one. This one found me, I took it as a trade for a Jetta I had. My only intention was to take the trade, and sell the truck ASAP.

Then I drove it. Except for it's inability to do much when it snows, I doubt I will ever give this truck up... with 236k on it and running the way it does, there is no need to sell it, except for one with 4 wheel drive ;)

im on my 2nd one right now

i bought my first one last august? 94 single cab short bed 2.3 5 speed 2wd paid $400 with 161k on it .. beat it, sold it for $500

found a ranger on CL for parts bought the whole thing, saw a sticker from TRS on the window, i got the truck from pwrranger88

94 ext cab short bed 4.0 5 speed 4wd, manual hubs, 158k with brand new clutch (not even bled yet) paid $300 for it and still have it

my first ranger was registered for 14 days lol

that makes both rangers: 1994 both caymen metallic lol

broke 1000 today on my 2010 sport nickname black beauty. She givng me nothing but joy.:icon_cheers: someday I will post pics but so far been lazy.

You better slow down or you'll have it wore out! :D

On mine, it took 10 years to get the first 60k. The next 7 years saw 140k added to it. :annoyed:

===================================
I've got 5 of em sittin round here, 94-99...............

Did you put the 200 straight 6 in your 85? I've seen some chatter on couple sites bout straight 6's, & 300 6's, but haven't seen any pics or anythin...... post up some pics of the swap.

Yeah the 200 was put in by me and my former bro in law. I unfortunately lost track of the pics in the divorce from his sis. The Ranger was a former 2.0 4-speed truck and was fairly easy to get the engine in. The engine was from a old fairmont as was the tranny. The low rearend gears and the trans gears resulted in a tire smoking beast up to about 45-50mph and then it sorta ran out of breath. I had intended to turbo it and use a aod on the truck but ended up getting rid of the thing. Wish I had kept it now. Oh well...... The 300 is a bear to get in by the way. It is mucho heavy and breaks everything else on the truck. You have to put a 8.8, beef the frame, change springs and watch the spindles. The 200 is just about right, but to each his own....

An 87 2.3L,TK-5 ranger XLT, three cylinders of fun and spills more gas then it drinks. :bawling:

78 F150 Ranger 4x4, 351M, C6, np205, sips gas and hauls @ss needs frame work though.:icon_welder:
man I need a welder:bawling:

ive had a 97 xplorer 5.0, 00 explorer 4.0(wasnt really mine but i drove it everyday), a 00 ranger , 01 ranger my 85 b2, an 88 b2, and im about to buy an 86 4wd with a blown motor. either gonna swap the cab on my b2 or swap my motor into it from the b2 and build the b2 as a truggy like nmb2(sp.?)

my grandpa has had a few b2's, rangers, and a ranger explorer(i wanna say 77? with a 460 scj) i love the rbv's and would say they are the most durable, fun, and cheapest to maintain and buy parts trucks out there

I've owned two Rangers, a Silver 1992 Reg Cab originally equiped with 4 cyl and 5 speed that I set a 5.0 H.O with AOD into! With 4.10 rear gear, it really tore out!
Now I own a 1991 Supercab originally equiped with V6 AOD that I installed a 351 Cleveland with a C4! Great truck built Ford tough!

Got three Rangers right now, had nine total not counting the BII.
'98 4x2 3.0L auto ext cab
2000 4x4 4.0L auto ext cab
'03' 4x2 3.0L auto ext cab
