Getting a new set of tires soon. Should I have the white letters out or the black wall out? What do you guys prefer?

I personally prefer white letters out.

I have been told that general if you have nice wheels you should put the black walls out to let the rim draw the eye, if you have not so nice wheels put the letters out and let them attract the attention.

While I like the look of white lettering, It always gets scuffed and dingy looking and Im not a fan of cleaning or repainting it so I just go with black side out. If I had a nice weekend vehicle I'd go with white letters out but just not worth it on my daily driver.

My dad said if he pays extra for white letters, he's gonna show them off

I agree with Dirtman about not being a fan of the cleaning, but I still prefer white letters out.

My dad would buy cheap tires and paint the letters himself... :icon_rofl:

Of course a big white "ECONO-TIRE" never looked as good as a big white "GOODYEAR" lettering.

Depends on the tire IMO.

The BFG A/Ts on my 3/4 ton are white letter out.

The "radial GT" or whatever on my ranger are not.

Do whatever you like and who cares what anyone else thinks..

GB :)

blackwalls out cause I aint advertising for tire companies AND buying their tires

Ditto.

I like the white letters. But don't let us tell you what you like. It's purely personal preference.

This message composed solely of recycled electrons. Go green!

I don't mind advertising for Ford. I love Ford. Ford has been in my life for decades.

Black out. To much damn work keeping the white letters clean.

Depends on the truck.

My Ranger has more chrome, alloy whees... white letters out looks more sporty.

F-150 much less chrome, black with silver two tone... I think white letters would cheapen the look
