White letters out or Black wall out?

White out! Especially on something with a vintage look (say any ranger 1997 and older, IMO). Has more of an off-road/muscle car look, which I like.

Hmmm ... a Ranger with a muscle car look. Never saw one of those.
I think the white letters look tacky and cheap.
Well I gotta wear shoes and I do advertise for a few Rock bands. I don't have any tshirts with the name brand on the outside. Levi's I am glad to advertise for. I do not wear hats of any kind, ever.

I normally go with black wall. I'm a cheap ass so when a tire blows down the road and I put an odd ball tire on it doesn't look like a miss-matched set of tires. But if you have something nice that you take care of and don't drive everyday then the white lettering is ok. There is a difference in good white lettering and cheap white lettering. Cheap ones turn to a blurr after a few years. See the picture is what scares me away from white lettering.

The part of that picture that scares me is the low tire pressure, or hella scrub from fenders.

Depends... I don't run white out if it sees any off highway use. Those nice white letters just get chewed off in the rocks. My F150 street truck has white letters out.

What we were getting at is how ridiculous your original statement was, that you don't freely advertise for companies AND pay for their tires. Yet you do it with multiple products in your daily life, but somehow you draw the line at tires. lmao! It's complete and utter nonsense to even bother making such a ridiculous statement.

....and I'm done here

GB :)

Depends on the tire IMO.

The BFG A/Ts on my 3/4 ton are white letter out.

The "radial GT" or whatever on my ranger are not.

I agree with Rusty. I used to be all about facing the lettering in and just showing those fat black sidewalls. But then I got my first set of BF Goodies back in the ‘90s. Just had to face those bad boys out and since then, I kinda like it. If I had a brand name like “GENERAL,” I’d prolly face them in. lol :icon_rofl:

It doesn't take much to do that to a Brimstone.

Up to you. I'm a black wall kinda guy myself. Less to worry about looking pretty.
