I changed the top on her car..heh probably not what you were expecting. Shes wanted it done for a while, plus she hates the tan, so we planned for me to change it while she was in California. Have about 15 hours wrapped up in it (working leisurely) over this weekend.

Nice looking mustang, the black top defentally looks better than the tan one.


When I first read Combs' post, I thought he ment the Mustang (refering to the car) and it's rear bumper to be paint different colors, I had to think why anybody in thier right mind would do that, haha.

There's a jet black fox body nearby, that has the MUSTANG in the bumper done in pink.

I would say black would be better on that car though. New top looks nice.

we have the EXACT same car same top an same color.. but its a 94.. top was trashed ordered a new one an had it put on in rhode island... 500 bucks later we got a nice new un torn top

Theres just a point where it becomes not worth it, and the tedious task of taping off those letters is just that, not worth it. The decals are only $10. I would be near that in the cost of tape, paper, and a can of spray paint. Not to mention the fact I would sit there for an hour taping it off.

I agree, the tan is disgusting. I could do that too seeing as I own my own upholstery business and all, that would be a much bigger job though, obviously. But before that I would rather swap in a v8/5spd

I've actually noticed alot of em around here, it was rare I saw the tan top.
