Which one would you buy? Would I be dumb if I bought one at those prices?

If it were me with $20k to spend, I'd just get a new Ford Maverick.

After getting the 2019 and seeing how much everything is electronically integrated in to each other, I don’t think I’ll buy new again.

Everyone is going to be different on that but that’s where I sit. I like some convinces but I think things have gone too far.

The Eddie Bauer thing just turns me off, always has. Never liked the guy or his game, much less pay thousands extra for a vehicle with his name all over it.

Bronco. Good sturdy truck can tow with it and I personally think there is more after market support for full size trucks anymore. Still way to much but if you live in a dry climate might as well get a nice low mileage one especially if you dont want to fix it up. But you can probably find a decent one out in Nevada, new Mexico west texas that wont need body work just refreshed

@MaD ,
Since they are the same asking price, I have driven and worked on both of these 1987 models:
Bronco had the dual front shock option, I enjoyed the handling with that option. The interiors are nice, comfortable bucket seats, definitely roomy but only belts for 4, if memory serves. Not the heaviest so a well tuned 5.0, I would expect 20 mpg highway, capable of a bit more. The pop off rear lid is SiCK!!
Bronco II handling leaves a lot to be desired but can be improved to become my favorite handling RBV chasis. A well tuned 2.9l is capable of 25 mpg highway with room for improvement. From Ford these can have the optional Recaro perforated leather bucket seats which are extremely comfortable front seats.

Of the two models in pictured condition, I would chose the BII for the fuel economy.

I wouldnt get either.
Would consider the Bronco if it had the 5.7/351W
Never was a fan of BII...had one for a short time...would rather have a ranger w/ a camper shell.

Personally.. i think the full size should be closer to 15k and the b2 around 10.

That's what I said in January 1995, after I was comparing the '94s and '95s. When we walked the dealer's lot I told my wife "Just look for only the trucks that have the square dash".

True story.
