I have been building this ranger for the past couple of years. This truck is a build consisting of several Rangers. This is my first ever build. I installed some cheap hubs a couple of months ago and they completely blew to pieces!! Anyone else ever have this happen? Any suggestions? Thank you!

Were you horsing around and spinning when it happened? It's very easy for a hub to delay locking in. It's best to predict you will need it and lock the hubs in way before you need 4x4. Lots of grease and cold weather will contribute to the delay. Then they decide to lock in when you are spinning and yes they will blow apart.

I'll agree with that... these hubs can't take a whole lot of abuse like being on the throttle while the front end is off the ground... personally I have never broken a hub in the 20 years mine's been a 4x4 but things didn't get pushed to any limits until 2010 when I went turbo... but still no torque but the 5.13 gears do their job... I have a couple spare sets just in case though...

That said, do you still have the Dana 28 up front? There's zero options out there now other than stock for those, there's not much for options for the Dana 35 either but I imagine they're stronger...
