I’m looking to add a few inches, would someone just order shackles that will lift your ranger or would you go with the add-a-leaf route?

I don’t think the 2011s had the factory lift blocks under the springs. The earlier models had them, they got rid of them for fuel economy reasons.
I think the last year was 2004 or so. That would be the easiest for a small lift.

My 2wd 2011 came with factory lift blocks. I can snap some pic's tomorrow if needed

My '10 didn't have any

They lowered the ride height on MY 2008 until the end of production. They removed the rear lift block and also used a different torsion bar key in the front.

Here is some information from the Tech Library.

Now I Think they are lift block. I Could be wrong, I'll take pic of what I think are the lift blocks

I did shackles on mine so I could delete the factory lift blocks.

The 2008 - 2011 4X4 Rangers have a rear axle block that is about 3/4” thick and the torsion bar keys are indexed differently.

If you get rear axle blocks from or for an 1998 - 2007 4X4 Ranger and the same with the torsion bar keys, that will give you about 1.5” of lift.

You can also swap out the entire spring pack and lift block assembly. That's where my '99 is with Sport Track springs. I'd originally installed a lift block on top of the factory block, but the spring swap allowed me to remove both blocks and maintain the increased height.

you can get those from the edge models for those years too. my 04 edge has huge lift blocks on the back springs.
