i recently bought a 4 inch lift and the shocks didn't come with boots and was wondering where the cheapest place would be to get them? I checked ebay, jc whitney, jegs, and summit. Summit has the cheapest but their "free shipping" "handling" charge is the same as the boots so i would be paying twice as much. any suggestions? thanks

the local advanced auto parts should have them, the one i work at we keep 2 red and 2 blue in stock, not sure how good theyed work on a high travel shock, but there pretty cheap.

Thanks, i'll check both places out.

I threw a bunch of them away. I hate shock boots. Don't want all the dirt and moisture trapped in my shocks. Never see a shock boot on high performance/racing setups.

I second that. They can fill up with mud and rocks and grind your shafts down. The drain holes can plug and crap starts builing up. Pulled mine off long ago after finding 2 with snow and sand up to seal level.

I never thought of that. But this truck is going to be a DD with little off roading. I do see your point though.
