What's your truck's name?

"The Lone ranger", because it's white, like his horse "Silver", and I have left it alone for a few years now.

This is "TruckPool" like DeadPool. Same color scheme, and nothing seem to kill it.

Naming is the wife's job. Explorer is named Eddie.

Don't know or remember if she's named my Ranger. Hmm, maybe "white lightning" because it's so fast with the 3.slow.

My 93 was made in Minnesota and sold in Ashville NC. The original owner apparently bought new each year and that is where it's second owner bought it. She was in school there and wanted something good in snow and hills. I bought it from her near 12 years later in Nashville TN. I had been looking a while and was only watching the papers F100 and small Fords columns. This day I had woke up early, made the 20 minute drive to the papers main office, and picked it up as they came out the door. I called about 8 am and by 9 I was looking it over, decided to buy, and asked if she'd help me get it home. She followed me in it and I stopped by the bank and picked up shiny 100 dollar bills, took my 87 home and rode back with her. She had quite a history with this truck, all through her college years and several years into her marriage. It had at that point 234K, quite a few even though it was very well maintained.
Along the way to her house and her stories of the truck I asked if she'd ever given it a name.
No, but her friends had, The Dinasour, as they'd never known a time when she hadn't had it

Since getting my sport trac and finding out the color is called "Medium Toreador Red". El Toro came to mind, but Toro just sounds better.

That is correct, but Tina rocked that song like no other.

:dntknw: I prefer the original CCR version.

No vehicle names here either. Maybe I should start. Having 3 registered trucks and a 4th project truck, saying "the truck" doesn't work. I can get away with "the old truck" or "the F-100 for the 68 F-100, it's the only one that either of those descriptors suit. The F-250 gets referred to as that or the big truck since it's the biggest of them. I struggle with the Ranger. Just calling it "the Ranger" doesn't work since I've got 2 complete and three parts Rangers around, when talking about them I actually have to specify by year and model. Names might actually make things less confusing, but I don't see it ever actually happening.

I have never named my two trucks. It never crossed my mind to name my 93 f-150 4x4 and 02 ranger fx4.
