What's your truck's name?

I have never named a vehicle.
Same. Where I work the owner names all the customers trucks coming thru the shop. I never know which truck I'm supposed to work on when he says "go work on xxxxx". It just doesn't compute in my head.

The closest I've ever gotten to naming a vehicle is use a portion of the name it comes with. The 2011 is the XLT and the 2019 is the FX4. My girlfriend named the FX4 but I refuse to use it and no, I won't say what it is.

I worked downtown at the Nashville Bridge Company as a ship fitter when I first got there. Tn had the "right to work law", whatever that was all about, and during a dispute we all got layed off.

I packed up my little Delta 88 truck I'd bought for a bit over 500 and headed for a spot on the map that looked cool, named Center Hill Lake. Loved that place man, one of the prettiest lakes, I went camping there a LOT in my next 20ish years or so in Nashville.
Only trouble was the bass fishing I knew didn't work well on the Trout that were jumping all around my bobber! :/

I don't name vehicles or call them "she" or "her". The Ranger is called the truck, the Escape is the car, and my Cobra II is the Mustang- even though it never said Mustang on it anywhere, just Cobra II.

In the early 60's we had two Ford sedans an old green like '52 and a old black like '56 so, "greenie" and "blackie" (we were kids).

When you rode in the back seat of Greenie you could watch the road go by through the holes in the floor.

My dad sold Blackie to a guy for $50. The guy called up a couple weeks later and was mad - "I was driving along and the engine fell out to the ground" my dad said "well what did you want for $50?" which was pretty funny because my dad was real laid back.

I just saw a white Cobra II with red striped yesterday.

Proud Mary. Named after the classic Tina Turner song, more known as Big Wheels Keep on Turning.

Proud Mary was a Creedence Clearwater Revival song that Tina Turner added power and octane to when she covered it.
