hey guys. i have 235/75/15 bfg at ko's. just wondering what psi would be best so i dont lose the bead and i get descent traction.

you can go to 12-15 without a problem...

You're taking Mall Terrains through mud. It doesn't matter what PSI you deflate to, you're going to have big chocolate donuts on your truck.

Be kinda cool to bring some sprinkles and take some pics though.:D

at least i dont blow my money away on a POS 98 4x4 by putting super swampers and a lift. its 2WD truck. im not taking it through a ****in swamp.

Im going to give you probably the best advice for driving in mud with your truck.

STAY ON THE SKINNY PEDAL!

Your BFG KO's are notorious tires for clogging up in the mud. You want to keep your foot in the gas so that you can "spin" them clean. For what your doing, airing down wont make a difference. Just try and throttle your way through stuff, and have fun. If its just light trails, you should be okay. Have fun, and know your limits, its not worth destroying your truck.

Cheers

So let me get this straight, my truck is a POS because I actually have a set of swampers for taking it wheeling? Also, um, what lift do I have again? :icon_confused: Good luck with your shitty Mall Terrains. :icon_twisted:

keep dreaming of getting a new body ranger for cheap. its not gonna happen. now **** off. :thefinger:
I don't know why in the world you would think that I would want your 2wd, I have no use for it...:icon_confused:

Enough of the flaming! if you cant be decent get the hell out of his thread. Its about time for the banhammer anyways.

Your talking about a mild trail with water maybe? You have absolutley no reason to air down. None whatsoever. Run about 25-30 psi and like said above stay on the gas. Stopping is sticking. Never ever ever stop, momentum is your best friend. Take a tow rope and do everything you can to get it stuck so you can learn the limits of your truck. Its two wheel drive with open diff? So youll be pushing with one wheel inevitably. Your other disadvantage is the KO's. they are (even brand new) a cunt hair better than bald tires in the mud. Your gonna have to do some good driving to stay unstuck. Seriously DONT AIR DOWN.
