I removed some trims and the seats in my truck a while ago to get the headliner redone, but now I'm stuck with that big metal piece and I have no idea where it goes :sneaky:

It's a supercab 1990

Well... It's fairly heavy duty and substantial looking so I would assume it holds down something important and not a price of trim. Kinda looks like the piece the seat belt retractor would bolt too but I'd think you'd notice if your seatbelts were missing?

Looks like a misc engine lifting bracket...

May be SeatBeltBuckle floor anchor?
One bolted down on each side of the floor hump, between each bucket seat base & console.
May be?

Yes, seat belt bracket

3rd vote for seat belt related bracket

okay thanks, does somebody have a picture where it mount ? I have only one
