2.3L ('83-'97) what's it called?

I believe there is a a hose/line that runs from the top of the valve cover to the air plenum, right? Could someone please advise on what it's called? I don't have it and need to order it.

An idea of where I can order one from would be great as well

Edit: I found that it's called the crankcase breather hose, but any assistance on where to find one would be great.

You might be looking in junk yards... ebay... and asking in the classifieds

Any chance it can be replaced with a heater hose like the 4.0?

Just go to an auto parts store and ask to look at their hoses. Take your old one with you. Look for any hose that has that 90 degree bend in it and is the same diameter. The rest of the hose doesn't matter, you can cut it off.

Yeah, that, pretty much any hose should work since it's not pressurized, I've thought about changing the one on my '97 since it's hard as a rock but haven't thought about it at the right time... I think it's just 3/8" hose so might not be too bad, don't think there's a real clearance issue so getting a couple feet of fuel hose and just going from the two spots with a wide bend should work...
