What would be a good name?

Ford numbered all of their full size trucks, and eventually added the title "Super Duty" to the 3/4 ton and larger f-series.

The F-150 has been produced as a 'Lightning' and 'Raptor'.

The compact truck has been called the 'Courier', 'Ranger', and some thought the new Ranger would be renamed the F-100.

There has been the Bronco.

Ford added the 'Explorer', and then the SUV's that followed share similarly themed names; 'Expedition', 'Escape', 'Excursion'.

Note that at one time, 'Ranger' and 'Explorer' were trim packages on trucks.

Other package names have been 'GT', 'High Rider', 'Sport Rider', 'Tremor', 'Edge', 'STX', and 'FX4'.

Sport Trac had an 'Adrenaline'.

'Lightning Bolt' and 'Storm' have been concept names not used.

And finally, the 'Raptor', is an off-road performance Ranger that we're not going to get. At least not for a while.

Oh ya, the 'Global' Ranger has a 'Wildtrak' package option.

So now the question, if you had to come up with a name for a unique off road package Ford Ranger, what would it be?

I just googled Indian word for horse... It would fit with the mustang and bronco names. Horses are pretty amazing off road creatures.. but anyway...

Soquili (pronounced sew kwi lee) is "horse."
Usti (or Usdia) Soquili is "pony" (Literally "little horse")

I kinda like it... but I am sure for some political correctness it would never be used.

I don't know, but the other day that I was thinking that the AWD version of the GMC Terrain should have a little badge that says "All" that goes above the normal model badge that would make it the "All Terrain".

But seriously, Jeep already used Renegade so that's out. How about Scorpion... sounds cool and dangerous. I don't think anybody else is using that either. It has a desert theme too. Better than pulling up old names like Probe or Falcon or Galaxy or Granada

Ford should never ever use the Granada name again. Ever.

I'd like to see Ford create a 'Vagabond' package on their SUV's that included Firestone tires and LED offroad lights in Memory of the Vagabonds (Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and Harvey Firestome).
