first was a hand me down 87 broncoII. had god knows how many miles. It keep eatin fule pumps so i parked it. not good with eltc stuff.. mabey swap a 302 in it one day but not any time soon.
than traded a yz250 off for a 95 c1500 stepside. LOVED that one. 350 auto keep it for about 3 days till a 4spd went in it. fun truck but liked that gas too much for my likeing so I traded it to my 93 s10. Love that little truck, still have it and drive it everday.
now I got another ranger(MY dream truck) 97 reg cab short bed lift and 33s..
I had a 1993 Astro van I had a piece of ugly 70s carpet inside to cover up the rusted through floor I paid $400 for it (my parents never gave anything to me) I took the middle seat out and used it as a couch in my bedroom lol. it was straight piped well more like it didnt have a cat and the muffler fell off. The girls and I would use it as a hangout and that kinda stuff lol. One of the best memories I have of it one day after school everyone was leaving and some guy was making fun of it and said it couldnt spin its tires so I did a brake stand in the parking lot and a lil crowd was around and I said no your honda cant do that and he got mad at me and called me white trash like it offended me funny thing was I never got in trouble for it lol Well after that I started burning em everywhere and I blew the Tranny after about 8 months and scrapped it. After that I had 90 Dodge ram (2wd 360 4spd) that lasted 2 weeks. after that I got my first ranger which was a 87 2wd 5spd 2.9 with a cap and I havnt left Ford since lol after I sold that cause my GF HATED IT so I got a 91 TBird then went back to rangers after I blew that 5.0 lol
1991 ford ranger XLT.4.0 ohv auto single cab, long bed.. I ran the crap out of that poor truck. It's still around today and running good though. I paid $900 for it when I bought it. No a/c 3.08 8.8 but ran like a top.
My first was a 1998 Grand Cherokee with the 5.9 V8 in it. That thing hauled ass for what it was. Bought it before I could drive for 2000 with 147k on it. I got my liscense and beat the piss out of it you could say and eventually bent the axle, sold it for 1000. Guy I sold it to fixed it up and sold it for 3700.
That brings me to my 2003 Ranger, love this truck and will probably never get rid of it.
1957 Ford Fairlane 2 door with 292 CI Y-block V-8 and 3 speed on the column. Had 21000 miles on it and the old guy who owned it wrecked the right front. I paid $175.00 for it! It was my first rebuild project and after I got the body parts installed, I took it to a local body shop and had it painted Champagne Gold (GM color at the time). Threw the front bumper away, and mounted a short push bar instead. Some bozo ran a red light and ruined the same stuff I just fixed after only 3 months. She was a great machine in her day.
1969 mustang. (bought) been working on it since i was 14. i have still yet to drive it firing on all cylinders and legally down the road. lol
next was an 87 thunder bird. (give to me by a friend)
then an 85 s10 (was my great grandpa's)
then a 96 dodge dakota (was my grandpa's)
next a 78 suzuki 550 bobber (bought)
and my most recently acquired 86 bronco II (traded an old honda recon for it)
i still have all of these but the thunderbird.
i'm 20, have 6 vehicles, and still have 5. i'm scared to see what it's gonna be 10 years from now.
pos 93 s-10 blazer 4dr 4x4 4.3vortec automatic. painted her camo with a skull on the hood. never got more than 7mpg out of her but she moved pretty good.
1974 Plymouth Duster with a slant 6. The gal we got it from had it for 3 years and never changed the oil. Drove it home in a snowstorm with a bias ply tire on opposite corners. Went to my dad's buddy with the tire shop and dad bought me white-walls. Put in an FM converter. Changed the toothpaste... er I mean oil. (it literally oozed out like toothpaste). Snapped the torsion bar after 2 weeks. Got that fixed and 2 weeks later the oil pump went out.
Tireshop buddy had a car. Dad asked if I would be interested in (what I thought he said) a Monza? SWEET! Turned out to be a piss yellow old Mazda with bad brakes that was just drug out of a farmers field. Drove that for about a month until a guy stopped short in front of me. Fixed it with a bottle jack & 4x4. Drove that until I paid back dad (for both cars!) Replaced that with a 1982 EXP just before I went to the Navy.
