Should I put the 302 right into my Ranger or should I wait a little bit and keep the 305 in there. The only problem is I need the truck for two more weeks. And I need a new intake on the 305. I can only drive it right now for 10 to 15 mintues before it starts pissing coolant everywhere. But 15 minutes is all I need to get to work.

Serves you right for putting a chebby engine in there. J/K
Drive the 305 till you can't anymore if the 302 isn't ready.

no no its ready to go. i was just thinking of the work in the chevy that I've done and i don't want to just rip it out. But I kinda do? Might just drive the 87 around for a bit too.

Get a new intake for the Chevy, they're a dime a dozen...even aftermarket. I've seen Edelbrock Performers go for $25 on craigslist.

Yeah I got an intake for the 305...but I have to pretty much pull the motor to get my HEI distributor out the block. So.....I'm pretty sure I'm taking some time off next week and doing ANOTHER motor swap.
