Hello,
I have a 94 Eddie Bauer Tan interior with leather seats...the leather is starting to crack and rip..was wondering what seats i could swap out...mustang? new explorer? etc...
Thanks alot!

I've got seats from a '98 or so Explorer in my '94 model. No problem at all that I can recall (might have had to wire in the power to the seats, but that was it).

Like just rewire the plugs "Fastpakr"? I'm curious now my seats are horrible and are in dire need of replacing. more info would be great like if they where a direct bolt in like that :P thanks bub

In my '94 I didn't even swap the tracks. The only wiring I remember doing was running power from a constant source in the truck to the power seat plug. The seats themselves just bolted right down.

Seats from an extended cab Ranger will bolt in as well if you find one with buckets since they share the same floor shape in that area.

I tried to use seats and cntr seat Console from a '94 X for a '98 Ranger and found the bolt holes to be off a little and too small had to drill them out; also, the '98 had a different seat belt setup.

The Console bottom was different too and needed to be mod'd before it would fit.

There are little difference, maybe not in the same year but in year to year/model to model there are little differences; you will have to be the one to check it out and see if the differences are a problem or not.

Let the site know what you choose and what changes you had to make if any, this could be an interesting thread.

Oh Ya... don't forget the Navajo's,, they are just X's in disguise.
