Actually, you have to leave it in.

His truck won't know how to talk to it if it didn't have one originally, so it doesn't really matter if he runs that or whatever his truck had originally filling that hole.

That's what I figured, since it has the exact same thing going into the hole. Just wanted to make sure.

either way you gotta put something in, if im right, thats also what drives the oil pump... no oil pump and that engine is toast....
