Auto or manual?

neutral safety switch. That would be an auto or it is called a clutch safety switch.

I used to be "chief of the spelling police" but all these people who can barely spell and read got pissy. Instead of having to clean out 15 vaginas a day I just stopped.

Have you ever looked at any of his other posts (or even this one)? Do you think he's going to know the difference between a Park/Neutral position switch or a Clutch triple function switch? Or just call either one a neutral safety switch?

I usually dont correct people on spelling, but this was atrocious.

the truck is a auto, the switch or whatever the hell yall call it is on top of
transmission. i just need to know the right tool to use to remove it

Does the switch look like this would fit?

It's actually an oil-pressure sending unit socket, but the neutral safety switch on our '85 XJ had that shape. Not square, not hex, just odd-shaped.

his use of "y'all" was actually correct, he just didnt include the apostrophe lol

No use of "y'all" is correct unless you are speaking Creole. Then you may take up your grammar issues with the French.

yeah it isnt correct, but the entire south uses the word, not just those crazy folk from loo-ziana

Yes, half of the US use yall (or how ever you want to spell it), but that doesnt make it correct.

it's short for "you all", how is that incorrect? i dont care either way, i say it all the time. i hate it when people say "you all"

Given my current state I'm sure I'm overlooking something, but I can't thing of a single instance where contracting "you" and "all" is correct since all usages I can think of require another word or a comma in the middle, making a contraction grammatically incorrect. Or the syntax of the sentence would be incorrect such as "you all come back now" is not correct syntax. It would more correctly be "you should all come back".

Go ahead and use it. Right or wrong, I use it too.
