Bear with me a moment here .....

..... I have moved to a house of my own. I now have a 2 car garage to play in. (YEEHAW!) And it's sloped. I can't get a proper engine oil level reading or a transmission fluid level reading now. Not a huge deal, but i'd like that variable eliminated.

What could I use as a "level" on our trucks? If the truck is level can I put a carpenter's level on the bed or bed rails and use that as a reference?

(rear-engine wheel-standers need not apply! lol!)

Just park it on the road, its not that critical.

So you garage floor is sloped?
