Ok, to expand on my snow wheeling trip, I'm less tired now...

Cool vehicles to note that were in the line waiting for my friend with the blown radiator to get out of the way...

-RHD land rover crew cab pickup thing
-V8 second gen explorer 5L on one tons and like 36" tires
-'93-97 Ranger based thing on one tons, shock hoops out the hood and like 36" tires with a ride height lower than my '90 on 35's with something small that revved fast under the hood
-old square style land rover clean/restored or whatever with mild lift and 33's or so
-normal Wrangler on one tons and 42" tires I think, I remember they were 21" wide, it was a cute little thing...

I'm sure in that line of rigs were at least a million dollars, of course there were a few hooptie yotas on 33's and such but also a new bronco, several big $$ new wranglers and such... If I get a wild hare tonight I'll post a few pictures for yall...

Did mine this afternoon. Had to pay state more than my fed refund. That was only about an $80 difference. But then, somehow, "file free with Turbotax" cost $118

Just can't win.

I did those yesterday. I'm getting enough back to pay the loan off on my truck and fix my wife's car, so it was time and money well spent.

Did mine 2 weeks ago, always agrevating. this year the wireless mouse wouldn’t work & I hate trying to use the thing on the laptop keyboard for a mouse so I bought a old-school wired mouse. Got enough back to help with a purchase Ive been wanting to make.

I bought a old-school wired mouse.

Can't go wrong there! Both my keyboard and my mouse on my PC are wired. No radio interference, no extra batteries, no input latency. Tried and true, I say!

So far cleared the garbage from the shop and some of the junk from the old camper, disassembled a pressure washer to extract the engine for m brother, found some stuff in the garage I needed, painted then installed the second to last piece of plywood for the loft ceiling (took two attempts, was 1/4" too wide the first time, next piece I'll cut narrower... Next step is to reinstall the light where that board was. I also made a broom rack so it would fit without the C clamp holding the 2x4's to the joist, just some allthread with a 2x4 scrap in front of it to clamp to the joist.

Common occurrence. Every form beyond 1040 costs. They also REALLY like those misleading questions to get you to "upgrade". I used FreeTaxUSA.com this year. It sounds scammy, but it's not. Not even an increase is spam e-mail. My aunt has been using it for years.

you need to repost that tax place again next year. i got through turbo tax with no fees but i said no to everything and it probably added half an hour to doing the taxes because they bomb you with crap to trick you into paying something

I am so glad that i know someone who works for H&R and doesn't charge

Yeah... bought the download at costco which gives me a 10 buck voucher to spend on any of the fees... paid 59 bucks for the delux version. so the first thing it tried to do when I downloaded it was redirect me to start using the "cloud" or online version. told it no, installed the software to my laptop. after several more prompts to do it online and telling it to go f*** off, it asked me for feedback as to why I didn't want to do the online version. and it would not let me go further until i gave that feedback. told it I don't believe in the cloud system, it is just someone elses computer and I don't want my taxes on someone elses computer. then i spent another eternity dodging the upsells. No I don't want tax expert to walk me through taxes for an extra 40 bucks. again, halt the system and ask for feedback as to why. because I don't need it. wanted to type in F*** off and die, but figured it wouldn't get me anywhere but on a watch list... And no, I don't need audit protection, my taxes are not that complicated and there is not much to audit...

I think I am going to try that freeTaxUSA.com next year. Turdbo Tax really annoyed the crap out of me this year.
