Wasn't today, still at work. Yesterday I started patching the house floor. First patch cut and dropped into place.

Not bad for a first attempt. I'd almost even happy with it, but for two problems.
First problem is the cut on the far side of this pic managed to land right beside a floor joist. Manufactured home and joist spacing isn't perfect. That edge of the patch is hanging in the open, so I'm going to scab on another section of 2x to the existing joist to support that side.
Second I thought that the existing floor measured at about 3/4 inch. I grabbed a sheet of 23/32 since that's the closest that they sell. Turns out that the existing floor is closer to 5/8" so the patch sticks up almost 1/16 proud of the rest. Taking a chunk of what I cut out to the store after work to see if I can find a better match. If I don't I'll be finding a way to blend this out and make it work.
Struck out finding thinnner material on Monday, but I was just looking at precut 1/2 sheets. Decided at the time to just use patch lever and other material to mask the difference. More I walked around and though about the patch, the less happy I was with the situation. Also really wanted to reenforce one of the joists that was softer at the top than expected. Honestly probably need to replace that joist, but it was just the top inch or so (2x6) and that's a bigger project than I was willing or prepared to handle right now, so decides to just sister on a new piece like I did on the joist I missed the cut.
Today I wasted the morning, and headed to the Home Depot for materials after lunch. A sheet of 19/32 sheathing plywood turned out to be just right on the thickness, they just don;t have any of that in the precut section where I was looking yesterday. an 8 foot sheet of plywood doesn;t fit in a 5.5' truck bed, so got them to make my first 3' cut on it. Being lazy I decided why not have them go ahead and make that second cut sdo I can just drop the patch in place when I ger home, got home and discovered that I gave them the wrong measurement for the second cut, and it is too small. Well there goes the left over 4x5 piece and the time I thought I saved by not having to measure and setup for the cuts. Oh well I can use the leftovers from the 4x5 to make the other patch int he kitchen, then can probably cut the other patches I'm going to need from the 3x3 mistake.
Got my patch recut, got the joist reenforcements installed, and the new patch dropped right in. Screwed it down and it's going to work perfect. Might be a hair thinner, or just not quite level on a couple of spots, but the underlayment will easily hide the difference. If all goes well, I should have all the materials I need for the second kitchen patch and have that cut and done tomorrow morning.
On other note the USPS got on the ball this week. I'd ordered some magazines for the new gun through eBay last Wednesday. Don't remember what day they shipped, but tracking showed delivery for this Friday and I expected even longer considering the holiday buying and shipping rush. I didn't even expect the USPS to be working again until Saturday since Trump gave federal employees Wednesday and Friday this year. I was pleasently surprised when I got delivery notice today. If all goes well with the repairs in the morning, I'll be trying to make some hunting and range time in the afternoon and weekend.
Last thing for today, is going to be figuring out what to fix for dinner, and sit down to watch the new fallout episode. Then I might actually log onto and play some Fo76 until Santa comes. Don;t have to go back to work until Monday, and not goint to fire up the saw before atleast 8 am, so it's ok to stay up late for a change. (Not, that I don't normally stay up late anyway.)
