Drove the Choptop some more. I’m not sure I’m liking what the locker is doing to handling with this. I was relatively happy with how a locker performed in my F-150, but this being smaller, lighter, shorter wheelbase, and taller… seems to make a difference.

No, but medium to hard throttle lifts the left front corner and coming off the throttle quick lifts the right front corner and it sort of just sways around like that. Plus it was kind of smooth until some jerk pulled out right in front of me AFTER making eye contact and I was forced to downshift and lock them up. Now I get a horrible bang every so often.

The engine bay in the Escape is back together and the coolant system has been burped. The cowl and under cover will have to wait until later due to a Christmas Eve family early dinner. Then we have to wait and see if all the leaks have been fixed or not. The system wouldn't hold a vaccuum but it dropped a lot slower than last time. So, it COULD just be the adapter not making a perfect seal on the expansion tank, or it could not. Time will tell.
