I’m getting ready to finally redo the code 3 lights, light bars, side strobes, etc. on the ‘96 F250. It’s only taken me 30 years. When I dug through the crimp connectors and terminal strips section of the shed of miracles, I was low on the strips. Only three or four slot drop pieces from the large strips I bought probably before I got the truck.
The 18 pattern side strobes came in yesterday.
I bought these today. Five 12 slot double row strips with jumpers. and a plastic protective cover for 22 bucks. I’ve never seen those jumpers before, that’ll save a couple hours.
Now I have to decide if I want to swap out my power hungry Federal light bar with the halogen bulbs and rotating beacons for a modern strobe set. That bar was $500 in 1996. Now you can buy one of the 48 inch 360, 20 pattern strobe and traffic advisor bars for 150 bucks. But I kind of like the classic lights and rotating beacons.
Now that I have all the stuff, I bet it won’t take another 30 years to finish it up
