What did YOU do today?

I’m getting ready to finally redo the code 3 lights, light bars, side strobes, etc. on the ‘96 F250. It’s only taken me 30 years. When I dug through the crimp connectors and terminal strips section of the shed of miracles, I was low on the strips. Only three or four slot drop pieces from the large strips I bought probably before I got the truck.

The 18 pattern side strobes came in yesterday.

I bought these today. Five 12 slot double row strips with jumpers. and a plastic protective cover for 22 bucks. I’ve never seen those jumpers before, that’ll save a couple hours.

Now I have to decide if I want to swap out my power hungry Federal light bar with the halogen bulbs and rotating beacons for a modern strobe set. That bar was $500 in 1996. Now you can buy one of the 48 inch 360, 20 pattern strobe and traffic advisor bars for 150 bucks. But I kind of like the classic lights and rotating beacons.

Now that I have all the stuff, I bet it won’t take another 30 years to finish it up

Still doing ok. Once i figured a good wsy to get out of bed last night, it was way better.

I wake up a bunch of times a night so being able to get in and out easily is a big plus.

but, definitely doing better now. I think tomorrow i will be doing really really well

question of the day: are you parked there because of the Spa, or H & R block?:dunno:

Today is recovery from yesterday's hernia surgery. Sp far, so good
depending on where the hernia was,,,,,,
be prepared for the "eggplant" side effect.

in all seriousness, I've had 4 hernias repaired and my belly still has a slight bulge.
life will get back to normal, I mean manageable in a few weeks. normal may take a couple months.
no coughing or sneezing.

I kind of figure it will because there is a weird "line" i cam feel where the mesh is, i geuss

Same as the rest of the week, nothing except go to work. Started raining Sunday, and didn't stop until Tuesday night. Just as well because I was sick Monday-Wednesday, probably on account of the weather changing. Started back raining mid day Thursday and is forcasted to go through tomorrow at least.

Sucks, I had a few things I needed to do outside this week and was going to go hunting this weekend. Not interested in changing the starter on the F-250, in the back yard, in the rain. Cleaning and organizing the shed is covered, but still cold and damp. If it hadn't continued raining today I'd have gone to the hunting club, but so much water has come down this week the roads out there are going to be a muddy mess. Really not even an issue with the ammount of water because it has been a lite rain for most of it, but it has been steady with no chance to dry out.

Dropped off a new F350 at a shop for a farm bed. Came home and took a nap !!!!!!!!

You will feel that meah for a while and then only when you over do things. It eventually goes away but it does take a while. At least, that was how it was for me with the double hernia surgery I had.
