Went to lowes with the trailer, needed 12 sheets of T11 exterior wood siding, they only had 11. got a few other pieces of wood and a sheet of 1/2 plywood. Was tying it down in the parking lot when the wind started picking up & tornado warning was issued. Glad I took the escape, better brakes, more horsepower. 1/2 way home it starts raining hard. Get home & back into the garage, not easy when theres just 6” clearance between the trailer tires & doorway. 15 min later its sunny & humid. Hook the tractor to the trailer & pull it around back. Got the shorter sides put up then decided to call it a day. When I got inside and watched the news I found out there was a tornado just down the road from me, about a mile away.

Yeah, we had tornado watch here from like 12:30-9pm, don’t know if anything happened local though, haven’t heard anything. Good bit of odd sounding thunder though and a good bit of rain. It got super humid right before it started raining here around 5pm

My local Facebook group took its inaugural kayaking trip today. We kayaked a couple miles to the base of Burgess Falls and back. Was a good day made it back and loaded just before the bottom fell out.

Got further on the 5L, got the gasket surfaces cleaned up, went through 4 cans of brake clean cleaning things up so far... the block is nearly good, will tackle the heads tomorrow hopefully... The cam, cam bearings, rod bearings and PCV grommet showed up today so aside from the spark plugs and cam rear plug I haven't ordered yet I have about everything I'll need

I attempted to replace the rear breaks. However, the parking brake lever pivot pin is too large for the parking brake lever (the lever that turns the threaded parking brake adjuster). I bought the parking brake adjuster kit because the adjuster wasn't working right. I had the same problem the last time and used a Dremel to make the slot in the lever large enough to fit on the pin. However, it never worked quite right. The kit has a pin in it that is the right diameter, but the pin doesn't have a seat to prevent it from sliding through the shoe and it appears the part of that pin is a smaller diameter than the hole in goes into. I thought buying shoes and the kit from the same brand would solve this problem.

Also, the shoes are barely worn and those shoes, which were Centric, appear to be the identical product as the new Raybestos shoes, which is very possible since Brake Parts Inc acquired Centric several years ago. I didn't find any search results when searching on the internet, so maybe this is an issue Centric started and BPI/Raybestos carried over from Centric. Anyway, this kind of thing is annoying. Maybe I'll call the Raybestos support number to have my complaint logged.

I still kinda miss a certain fella with a basement and a furnace. Always gave me something to chuckle about. I hope he is well.

Started to clean the broncos Interior before it started raining.. it's done raining now but I developed a case of lazy during the storm.. probably finish tomorrow lol.

Dog hair sucks.. or rather... is resistant to sucking.. which blows.

We had weird colors in the sky too. I think we were real close to having a tornado but it didn't happen.
