WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!
you sure have a LOT of faith in those dry azz fence planks. I probably would have mounted that rack to the fence posts, if at all possible.

I would really like to do "Ranger Stuff", but between the +95* temps til 8pm, getting a new mobile home onto the property, packing stuff to move into said mobile home, and prepping the yard for sod, that nobody wants to sell us because it has been SO dry lately, I don't have much free time right now. Also two girls trying to kill each other because they have been together for the last 4 months is nerve racking. But I did weedwack around it yesterday.

Bought a new tool for working on it. I lost access to free welders when I separated from my wife last year (her uncle's shop was a great place to work).

Paid more than I wanted to. But don't trust buying a used welder from Craigslist. This thing should do almost anything I need and last longer than the rest of my life.

#welder envy

I can't seem to get enough penetration with my new Hobart 140... many warned me. It's going to get me through... but if I had it to do over.

I need to drag my old Lincoln stick welder home from my parents and see if I can get it to work. A guy gave it to me for helping him move and I have never tried it.

I’ve been too busy working on my trailer to do anything with the trucks. The next panel I’m working on needs to be fully cured by the time we go camping in August. So, I’m in a bit of a time crunch. All the hardware has been primed. Reassembly starts tomorrow. Then it gets bed lined and painted one side at a time with time to harden and cure so the completed side doesn’t get damaged by the saw horses while doing the other side.

I changed the oil... installed my front skid plate... put new electric oil pressure gauge and sender along with matching voltmeter. Replaced the mechanical oil pressure gauge and voltmeter because they didn't match the cluster and the mechanical gauge leaked at the gauge. Worked on fog light install and start wiring all my lights and switch box. Got hung up because Amazon didn't get my supplies here today as promised. They now say Sunday.

Tomorrow I rotate tires... clean and adjust the rear brakes and replace two broken studs. The put my new long reach lug nuts on. Then I hope to move onto the rear tire carrier. Sunday I hope to continue the rear bumper mods and finish up the wiring.

Washed bugs off the camper, drove it back home after it hiding out at work from a storm a couple days ago. I also have all the steel/parts to finish putting a real hitch on my pickup box trailer... needed so I can get my camper put inside.

I was going to do some work on the truck today... but it is so HOT and Humid that I didn't make it to far. Cooler days to come this coming week. I had my switch box show up today... I was on the fence about what to do with auxiliary switches. Adding these was a true after thought when they did third through fifth gens. I settled on a switch box I found on Amazon... it come with 4 or 6 switches. I went with the 4 switch version. I used some extreme 2 sided tape to mount the bracket... if it won't hold it... and I still like the positioning... I will just screw it to the ash tray face. I think it looks pretty good...

It's just to hot for me... and the rest will wait.

So I just went to shut the garage down and the Amazon truck pulls up... got my non insulated connectors and dual wall heat shrink tubing. No relays yet... still enough of an excuse to just pack it in for day.

I'm not so sure how Amazon can make any money on a single order that should have been shipped all together and here yesterday... but it is coming on 4 separate delivery truck on three different days?

Did the welder come with free tuna? ;)

Yeah that Bezos guy is really struggling. :giggle:

No. It did come with a material thickness gauge and the tuna can is a perfect sized tray to keep it handy.

I was going to modify that little cart to become my welding cart. But in today's mailing from Northern Tool, I see a nice welding cart on clearance for less money than what I would spend to make one. So I'll go to Northern on Monday and buy the cart instead of buying casters and Steel to make one.
