I just put the SCT X4 with custom tunes from Revolution Automotive. I did a quick test this evening. They said not get into to hard till the transmission has some time relearn. The tune has definitely woken the Ranger up and I haven’t even really tested it yet.

So here are my 1st drive thoughts about the Revolution Automotive tune in the Ranger. WOW what a difference. So much so that I am having to relearn how the truck drives. Everything I’ve read about the tune people say it wakes the truck up. It most certainly does. The gas peddle is more responsive. Before the tune the turbo lag was definitely felt. Now I can’t even feel the lag. The tune is worth it just for the improved shifting. It no longer skips gears. I have not really gotten in the throttle yet, but the power increase is awesome. This tune is legit.

I use an $8 transfer pump from Harbor Freight. Cut the hoses in half, the way it comes they're way too long.
You will need a 10mm (I think) hex drive to get the plugs out. The case is aluminum so don't crank them real tight, the torque spec is like 18 ft. lb.
I used Redline D6 ATF in the transfer case both times. It meets the Ford spec in the owner's manual. Amazon or Advance Auto carry it.

Truck is still in the body shop. About a week longer than they originally told me. I called today, there is a chance they will have it done tomorrow. Among other things, the intercooler was damaged and the first one they got was damaged in shipping so they had to order another one.
